puts a twist on the vampire methodology. Very good story as well about a scientist, his dog, and what happened to the world.
Ironically of the three films based on Richard Matheson's novel I am Legend, the one that shares its title with the book could not be any more different from Richard Matheson's work. All of the substance and depth was removed as well as most of the original story, and what we're left with is a lame attempt to cash in on the popularity of zombie films.
I enjoy movies with dark dystopian futures, whether the catalyst for the change in society is zombies, a virus or machines. The ending wrapped up a little too neatly for my tastes; I hope it is not for the creation of a sequel. I was worried Will wouldn't be able to pull this off but was pleasantly surprised at how well I liked him in this role.
